Privacy
No cookies,
no tracking
This website is deliberately simple: browse the pages, look at the rooms and choose whether to open WhatsApp, phone, map or email links.
Who is responsible for this notice
Seals Hospitality Limited (trading as Seals Bacton B&B), a company registered in England & Wales (no. OC11557209), is responsible for this website and for enquiries sent to us directly. You can contact us about privacy or data protection on 01692 650468 or at sealsbacton@gmail.com.
Browsing this website
This website does not include analytics, advertising trackers, newsletter signup forms, contact forms, embedded maps, social media plugins or marketing cookies. It does not use browser storage such as local storage or session storage for visitor tracking.
We do not try to identify visitors who simply browse the website. There is no cookie banner because this website does not set non-essential cookies.
Direct enquiries
If you choose to call, email or WhatsApp us, we will receive the information you share, such as your name, contact details, enquiry details and any stay preferences. We use this to reply to your enquiry, manage stay conversations and keep ordinary business records where needed.
The lawful basis is usually legitimate interests in responding to guest enquiries, or steps before arranging a stay arrangement if your message is about a possible stay. We keep enquiry records only for as long as reasonably needed for guest service, stay administration, accounting or legal reasons.
We read and reply to these messages using everyday email and messaging services, including Gmail (Google) and WhatsApp. When you contact us this way your message is handled on their systems, which may store information outside the UK under their own safeguards and privacy terms.
WhatsApp, maps and other external links
WhatsApp chat buttons open WhatsApp, phone links open your phone app, map links open Google Maps, Tripadvisor review links open Tripadvisor, and email links open your own email app. These links are simple outbound links rather than embedded widgets. If you choose to use those services, they are separate from this website and have their own privacy and cookie policies.
Hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may process standard technical logs needed to serve and secure the website, such as request time, browser type, device information and IP address. These logs are used for website operation, reliability and security. This site does not add its own visitor tracking on top.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising, add visitors to mailing lists, profile website visitors or make automated decisions about them through this website.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it where appropriate, restrict or object to how it is used, and ask us to transfer it where that right applies. If you are unhappy with how your personal information is handled, you can also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
